Welcome new Ambassadors !

Exciting Announcement from LocationLincs! 

We’re delighted to share that two incredibly talented actors, Thomas Turgoose and Kevin Doyle, are officially joining LocationLincs as Ambassadors.

Thomas, known for his unforgettable debut in This Is England and more recently for roles in Game of Thrones and The Gallows Pole, brings a genuine, grounded energy that perfectly reflects our values. He’s someone who tells stories with honesty and heart, just like the way we believe places tell stories of their own.

Thomas says :

"I grew up in Grimsby, so Lincolnshire’s in my blood. There’s so much talent and so many amazing locations here that people don’t know about. I’m buzzing to be an ambassador and help shout about what our county’s got to offer."

Kevin, beloved for his role as Joseph Molesley in Downton Abbey and widely respected for his work on series like Happy Valley, has spent years on both stage and screen bringing depth and authenticity to his roles. His experience with the Royal Shakespeare Company speaks to his dedication to storytelling at its finest.

Kevin says:

"My formative years were spent in Lincolnshire and it was there with the help of many that I discovered the possibility of broadened horizons. The teachers that encouraged, the cultural institutions there that inspired and the local council who financially enabled - to all of these there is an enormous debt of gratitude. Lincolnshire is a beautiful but oftentimes overlooked county. It offers breathtaking scenery from the Fens to the Wolds, from ancient buildings to quiet seascapes. There is also a wealth of creative talent…and only 90 minutes from London."

What excites us most is that both Thomas and Kevin understand the power of place, how our surroundings shape our stories, our character, and our identity. This belief sits at the core of everything we do at LocationLincs.

Over the coming months, they’ll be working with us on projects that explore the connection between people and location, sharing insights from their own journeys and shining a spotlight on meaningful spaces.
